What our Parents

Have to Say About Us

"My daughter Ilona spent amazing years in this kindergarten. A wonderful soft and caring transition from home, with wonderful people. I am so grateful for the nourishment and the invaluable foundation she received there for her physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development. When she left she was completely ready and mature for school. Three years later I am so grateful for these years and can still see the benefits in her learnings and development. Highly recommended !”

"As a teacher, I have experienced a few different educational settings. Robin's Nest offers some really special things that I haven't seen anywhere else: a closeness to nature, which gives my child such a great connection to the elements, plants and animals, and enables learning in a very deep, organic way, and freedom and space for my child to develop their social being, held by knowledgeable, wise, sensitive teachers."

"Robin's Nest is a magic place for little ones.

We are very happy with the Kindergarten and all the teachers in the team. We feel really lucky to send our son 4 days a week to this beautifully creative, warm and cosy setting. We love that is it only a few steps away from Emerson's Bluebell woods and Pixton Hill's wild meadows.

Fynn who started aged 3 and has just turned 5 is enjoying it very much. We can really see how much he is benefitting from the daily and weekly rhythms (such as painting/ crafting, farm visits, bread baking etc), the creative play with natural materials and the connection to Nature the team continuously foster, through time outdoors, seasonal nature tables and seasonal songs (which he continues to sing at home).

What struck us as particularly special about Robin's Nest when we looked for a place for Fynn, is the generous and well held time the children spend in the Bluebell woods for a couple of hours every morning.  In the woods the children let their imagination flow and discover the diverse wildlife and plants around them.  We really appreciate the sense of reverence and care that the setting and Hannah bring to the children."

"My daughter has always been an active child and loves playing outside whatever the weather. Robin's Nest is an exciting and special setting as the children are outside in the woods every day come rain or shine.

For indoor time the yurt is warm and cosy for painting, baking, eurythmy, ring-time, and seasonal crafts. Once a week the children are lucky enough to go on an expedition to our local Tablehurst Farm and in the Spring they can see the newborn lambs, which is such a joy.

And not every kindergarten have their very own chickens to care for!"
